I’m in the airport of Rio de Janeiro, waiting for my flight to São Paulo, and thought I wanted to say Hello. Over the past two weeks I’ve been photographing for book for Nike in four great cities of South America.This book is a research project on football culture in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. It’s made by Box1824 and BOLA Design, the two companies I’m working for here in Brazil.Traveling through Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, I’ve made portraits of young football talents. I’ve hicked through the favela in Rio to photograph kids playing football deep inside and watched great matches at the gigantic Maracanã Stadium.
